🎲 How to Play Craps

The basics: Craps is built around two dice and a "shooter" rolling them. The first roll of a new round is called the Come Out Roll.

Pass Line Bet

Bet before the Come Out roll. On the come out roll:

• 7 or 11 → Pass Line wins (pays 1:1)
• 2, 3, or 12 ("Craps") → Pass Line loses
• Any other number (4,5,6,8,9,10) → That number becomes the Point. The puck flips to ON. Keep rolling until the point repeats (Pass wins) or a 7 appears (Pass loses, called "Seven Out").

Don't Pass Bet

The opposite of Pass Line. Wins on 2 or 3 come out, loses on 7 or 11. A 12 on come out is a "push" (tie, no win/loss). Once a point is set, Don't Pass wins if 7 comes before the point repeats.

Odds Bets

Once a point is established, you can add an "Odds" bet behind your Pass/Don't Pass bet (tap the same cell again while point is ON). Odds pay true mathematical odds with no house edge:

Place Bets

Bet that a specific number (4,5,6,8,9,10) will be rolled before a 7. Can be made any time. Working only while the point is ON by default in this sim (auto-on).

Field Bet

One-roll bet. Wins if next roll is 2,3,4,9,10,11, or 12. 2 and 12 pay double (2:1), everything else pays even money. Loses on 5,6,7,8.

Come / Don't Come

Work like Pass/Don't Pass but can be made on any roll after the come-out. The very next roll acts as that bet's "come out roll".

Hardways

Bet that a number (4,6,8,10) rolls as a pair (e.g. 2+2 for hard 4) before it rolls "easy" (any other combo) or before a 7.

Proposition Bets

One-roll bets on the felt center: Any 7, Any Craps (2,3,12), specific numbers 2/3/11/12, and the Horn (combo bet on 2,3,11,12).

Tips

This sim auto-resolves bets each roll and shows the result in the message bar. Tap a betting area to place chips with your selected chip value, tap the ROLL button to throw the dice. Use Clear to remove all working bets (note: working Pass/Come point bets cannot be removed once a point is established, just like real craps).
